Our MARCH artist of the month is Hannah Schaber
Our artist for the month is Hannah Schaber!
“I am originally from Buffalo, NY and I moved to the Kingston area a few years ago. Since then, I have worked as a vet assistant and I am working towards becoming a vet tech. I’ve always loved animals and I have worked with them in many different capacities, including previously at the UCSPCA. My love for animals not only drives me in my career field, but it also inspires my art! Since I was young, I have always loved various arts and crafts. Over the years I have enjoyed becoming self-taught in embroidery, painting, resin work and more.”
25% of all proceeds go directly to the Ulster County SPCA!

The project is an effort to merge the animal community with the growing art community in the Hudson Valley and has been very successful since its inception. The UCSPCA works closely with local artists, allowing them to display their work in the shelter for one month. Each month the featured artist displays their work at the shelter and proceeds from the sale of their work comes back to the animals.
